KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 REMIX - THE STORY CONTINUES

Square-Enix announced Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX a few days ago at the D23 Expo in Japan. Of course accompanied by an awesome new trailer. It contains three games: Kingdom Hearts 2 - Final Mix, Birth By Sleep - Final Mix and Re:Coded.

Re:Coded is a Nintendo DS game that takes place between Kingdom Hearts 2 and Dream Drop Distance. Mickey discovers that Sora is the link between all the other Keyblade wielders. So that's also how they learn about Terra, Aqua and Ventus. Mickey then sends a letter in a bottle to Sora and Riku telling them about it. The story continues in Dream Drop Distance where Sora and Riku take their mark of mastery exam. Re:Coded is a cinematic story so it's not playable, just like they did with 358/2 Days in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. I think it's a good choice to put those three games together. Everyone outside Japan is finally able to play the Final Mix version of KH2. And if you didn't have a PSP, now is the chance to play Birth By Sleep on the big screen. I wonder how the graphics will be. Because KH2 and BBS already have great graphics if you compare it to KH1. It takes a hell of a job to make something from 2002 in HD and that turned out really beautiful. So I have high expectations of this next installment. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will be globally released in 2014. Here's the trailer:

This is great news, and more coming up soon. In the meanwhile, I'll be playing Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX like a madman. See ya!
